Effective date: October 15, 2026
This policy applies to purchases paid through Collectoria. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Nothing here limits the rights consumers have under the Law of Georgia on Consumer Rights Protection or other mandatory law.
1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you buy as a consumer from Collectoria or from a business seller, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after you (or a person you named) receive the item, without giving a reason. To withdraw, tell us before the 14 days end — from your order in your account, or through the contact page or — — with the order number.
The right of withdrawal does not apply where the law excludes it, for example items made to your specification, sealed items whose seal was broken where hygiene or authenticity makes them unsuitable for return, and other cases the law lists. Purchases from private individuals (for example most community board deals) are not covered by the consumer right of withdrawal, but they are covered by our buyer protection described in section 3.
2. Sending the item back and refunds
- Send the item back within 14 days after you told us you are withdrawing, in the condition you received it, well packed, with the order number. We tell you the return address.
- We refund everything you paid, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until the item is back with us (or you show proof it was sent).
- The refund goes to the payment method you used. You pay the cost of sending the item back unless the item was faulty or not as described.
- If the item comes back damaged or worn beyond what was needed to examine it, we may reduce the refund by the loss in value.
3. Items not as described, damaged or not delivered (buyer protection)
For every purchase paid through Collectoria — including auctions and community board deals — you can open a dispute within 7 days after delivery if the item did not arrive, arrived damaged, or differs materially from the listing (for example a treated, synthetic, repaired or misidentified item sold as natural). See the Dispute Policy. The seller is not paid while the dispute is open. If the claim is upheld you get a full refund (return shipping paid by the seller or by us) or a partial refund if you keep the item.
4. Auctions and accepted offers
Winning a bid or having an offer accepted creates a binding purchase. Where the law gives consumers a right of withdrawal for such purchases, section 1 applies; buyer protection (section 3) always applies.
5. Outfitters
Orders from shops in the outfitters directory are made with, and paid to, the outfitter. Their own return policy applies; contact the outfitter first. Collectoria is not a party to those sales.
